Ogre 90 logo

Ogre is Latvia's 10th biggest city and it was celebrating its 90th birthday in 2018. With the big date closing in, the officials issued a contest to design a new logo for the event. I participated.

The logo is made of three pine trees, waves (parts of Ogre's official Coat of Arms) and circle (symbolizing time, infinity, spyglass ocular, and the letter "O" for "Ogre"). Waves are reminiscent of river Ogre and Blue Hills, both being landmarks of Ogre city.
